Ed and his wife Jeni were foster parents in the 1980’s to many children and developed hearts for the at-risk children of the world. As a pastor, Ed was often asked for counsel from families desiring to adopt either domestically or internationally. Finding virtually no objective information for Christian families, Ed felt God’s leading in founding Loving Shepherd Ministries in 2002.

Since then, thousands of U.S. families have received no-cost assistance in their adoption journeys from the staff at LSM. Group homes for orphans around the world are rapidly becoming a large part of the future of Loving Shepherd Ministries. LSM is now recognized as a leading advocate for the orphans and at-risk children around the world.
